Lisa Dunlap, MBA, CPA, CIA is a seasoned financial leader with more than two decades of experience helping companies strengthen financial reporting, internal controls, and operational effectiveness. Since 2017, she has served as a fractional Chief Financial Officer and finance consultant to organizations across SaaS, biotech, biopharma, retail/wholesale manufacturing, construction, and other industries.

Lisa’s approach is hands-on: she partners with management teams to identify information and reporting gaps, then builds sustainable, control-based solutions that provide timely, reliable financial and operational insights. Her work ensures companies not only meet GAAP and compliance standards but also leverage reporting as a foundation for forward-looking modeling, strategic planning, fundraising, and cash management.

Her career includes serving as CFO of a multi-division construction and recycling firm, where she oversaw GAAP accounting and developed integrated financial and operational reporting systems. Previously, she was Director of Internal Audit at Northwest Natural, a $1B publicly traded regional natural gas company, where she reported directly to the Board’s Audit Committee, led Enterprise Risk Management, and supported governance and compliance initiatives. Earlier in her career, she managed the internal audit function at Tektronix, held finance and accounting leadership roles at Nike, and began her career at Arthur Andersen.

Lisa holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Washington State University, a BA in Accounting from the University of Oregon (cum laude), and is both a licensed Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor. She has also served as an adjunct professor of accounting at Portland State University.
